Section 1Option 1 — Disconnect one account

Use this if you want to unhook one social account but keep using the product.

1. Sign in to the product you used Avionettashare through.
2. Open Connected accounts.
3. Find the platform — Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or TikTok.
4. Select Disconnect.

What happens

• We revoke the access token with the platform straight away, so we can no longer reach the account.
• We delete the stored access and refresh tokens, any media still held for that account, the post records and the metrics we collected for it — within 24 hours.
• Your other connected accounts are untouched.
• Posts already published stay on the platform. See section 5.

Section 2Option 2 — Delete your whole account

Use this if you want everything gone.

1. Sign in and open Settings.
2. Select Delete account.
3. Confirm.

What happens

• Every connected account is disconnected and every token is revoked at its platform immediately.
• All data we hold for the account is deleted within 30 days — tokens, media, captions, schedules, post records, metrics and logs.
• Backups are purged within 35 days, so nothing survives in a backup after that.
• API keys stop working immediately.
• Billing records we are legally required to keep are retained. See section 5.

Section 3Option 3 — Email us

Use this if you cannot sign in, if you never had an account with us, or if you would simply rather ask a person.

Email [email protected] with the subject Data deletion request.

Send it either:

• from the email address on the account, which is the fastest way for us to confirm it is you; or
• with enough detail to identify the connected account — the platform, the username or handle, and the name of the product you connected through.

What happens

• We acknowledge within 72 hours.
• We may ask one question to confirm your identity, and nothing beyond what is needed for that.
• We complete the deletion within 30 days.
• We confirm in writing when it is done, and tell you what was removed.

There is no charge for any of this, and we will not ask you why.

Section 4Revoking access at the platform

You can also cut off Avionettashare's access from the platform's own settings. Here is the exact path for each:

Removing the app on Facebook or Instagram deletes automatically

Facebook and Instagram are a special case, and a simpler one. When you remove Avionettashare from Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, Meta notifies us at the same moment, and the deletion starts on our side by itself. You do not have to email us, and you do not have to do anything else.

Meta shows you a confirmation code when you remove the app. Keep it if you want to watch the request go through: enter it at avionettashare.com/data-deletion/status and it will tell you whether the deletion is received, in progress or completed. The page shows the status and the dates only — never any personal detail — so the code is safe to hold on to.

What that automatic deletion removes is exactly what option 1 removes: the stored tokens, the media, the post records and the metrics for those accounts, within 24 hours. Connections to YouTube and TikTok are not affected.

Section 5What we cannot delete

• Posts already published. Once a photo or video is live on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or TikTok, it lives on that platform and not with us. Deleting your Avionettashare data does not remove it. Delete it on the platform itself.
• Records the law requires us to keep. Invoices and payment records are retained for the period UAE tax and company law requires, and for nothing longer. They contain billing details, not platform data or content.
• Data held by the Customer. If you connected through someone else's product, that company holds its own records under its own privacy policy. Ask them directly as well. We will tell you who they are if you do not know.
